This place embodies so many qualities: history, courage, creativity, sustainability, and peace. Each element has its own story. Let us guide you through the journey of this magical home.

The story begins in 1776, when this rural house was first built. Its construction and many details suggest it once belonged to a humble farmer’s family. It survived 230 years, gradually deteriorating over time. Then, in 2006, Beatriz and Felix took over and decided to revive

the place. Why courage? Because the state of the building was rather daunting—no water, no electricity, crumbling walls, holes in the roof, and muddy land exposed to the elements. Courage or madness? Perhaps a bit of both, but the world belongs to the brave, and this place does too!

Slowly but surely, they recreated the rural house, rescuing whatever was possible—tiles, bricks, wood. They did everything to keep the soul of the house. But they went a step further. Every tiny detail in the house is handmade—lamps, decorations—all following permaculture philosophy. They also introduced new technologies to ensure the use of renewable energies.

We’ve arrived at the last point—peace. All this hard work resulted in a truly peaceful, beautiful, and cozy house and surroundings. It resulted in an amazing place for guests to live many amazing moments.
